Event Description

The Workshop addressed four major topics: computerized databases containing identifying information about consumers; unsolicited commercial e-mail; consumers' online privacy; and children's privacy in the online environment. The workshop gathered data for the Congressionally requested database study being conducted by the 51本色and examined industry's response to the growing concern about personal privacy in the new online marketplace.

Under the Freedom of Information Act (鈥淔OIA鈥) or other laws, we may be required to disclose to outside organizations the information you provide when you pre-register for events that require registration.
